COMPLETE WORKS is a critically-acclaimed, award-winning comedy set in the world of a collegiate Shakespeare competition.
"Think of Mean Girls meeting Pitch Perfect meeting Bring It On, with adult actors. All the world's a stage, and the blood that's spilled isn't necessarily fake."
-The New York Times
"Tailor-made for the hardcore theatre geek... like the YA ‘Slings and Arrows’, (it’s) quickly paced and balances severe classical theatre super fanning with simple straight-up comedy."
-Pajiba
"Combines strong supporting performances and an earnest lead with an expertly written story... While the bulk of the story focuses on Hal's journey, (the final act) provides viewers with a beautiful and sometimes quite heartfelt look at just how and why the works of Shakespeare speak to so many and have lasted so long. COMPLETE WORKS is a masterfully crafted story about discovering who you are by becoming someone else."
-All Geek to Me
Backstage Magazine listed the character of Ashley Spitzer (played by Vicki Lewis) as one of the "Top 11 Fictional Acting Teachers" ever portrayed on screen, right alongside Corky St. Clair from "Waiting for Guffman."
COMPLETE WORKS was an Official Selection at multiple festivals and took home prizes for Best Actor at the Vancouver Web Fest and Best Director at HollyWeb Fest.
STORY: Hal's been obsessed with Shakespeare since his "Henry the Fourth" birthday party. Winning the American Shakespeare Competition could pull him out of his boring life and give him the performing career he's always dreamed of. The only problem: he's never done an arts competition before. As he deals with the crazy challenges and challenging crazies, Hal discovers that the road to victory is often paved with douchebag-ery.
