After a few years without a tour due to the demands of creating original Boom Kat productions that won us some nice LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award accolades, we decided that it was time to dust off the traveling keyboard and get back to performing for the community. When I Grow Up! is a musical twist on Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio. Embracing the idea that adventure is the part of life that keeps the spirit young, the show invites you to remember that no matter what journey you are currently embracing in your life, you should never stray away from the childish spirit within yourself that longs to create, believe, giggle, and learn. Created to appeal to audiences from 3 to 93, When I Grow Up! toured around Los Angeles between July 9th through July 26th, 2014, visiting Boys and Girls Clubs, homeless shelters, Ronald McDonald House, senior assisted living residences, and other locations where the audience cannot come to a theater. If your organization would like ETC Theatre Company to come perform at your site next summer, please contact us. The 2014 ETC Community Tour was made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. ETC Theatre Company
